How can you add value to the patient experience to combat online glasses?

 Your patients receive frame styling expertise at your office.  Your staff are making decisions about which frame shape, size, color, and styling would best suit the patient.  But the patients are unaware of all that goes into getting the perfect frame for their face.  Many patients think they can accomplish this “styling” on their own at home while online so they can buy glasses from internet sources.  We know that this rarely results in the best fit or comfort but patients  learn this only after they buy online. 

The Eyewear Stylist app for iPad is designed to enhance the frame buying experience by making it more fun while showing the value of the optician’s expertise.  This results in experiences that are unexpected, remembered, and passed on to their friends.  This increases loyalty to the practice because now they know what you do for them.  They realize that you know their preferences better than anyone else so they trust you with future purchases.
